Last Updated: April 22, 2026

By accessing or using the Gliiv platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, you may not use our services.

1. Account Responsibilities

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your API keys and login credentials. Any activity performed under your account is your sole responsibility.

2. Acceptable Use Policy (Prohibited Content)

Gliiv maintains a zero-tolerance policy for illegal or harmful content. You agree NOT to use our platform to send:

  • Spam: Unsolicited messages without the prior consent of the recipient, as defined by RURA.
  • Fraudulent Content: Phishing attempts, mobile money scams, or deceptive marketing.
  • Hate Speech: Content that incites violence, discrimination, or social unrest.
  • Impersonation: Messages using Sender IDs that impersonate government agencies, banks, or other entities without authorization.

3. SMS Credits and Payments

  • Prepaid Model: Services are provided on a prepaid basis. One (1) credit typically equals one (1) standard SMS.
  • No Expiration: Purchased SMS credits do not expire. Once added to your account, they remain available for use indefinitely until the balance is exhausted.
  • Refunds: All credit purchases are final and non-refundable.

4. Service Availability and Liability

While we maintain high platform uptime, Gliiv is not liable for service interruptions caused by local telecommunication network failures or third-party gateway issues beyond our direct control.

5. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that breach our Acceptable Use Policy or as required by Rwandan law enforcement.

6. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Rwanda. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Kigali.
